Several staff members and sisters marked the 40th anniversary of Earth Day by planting a Ginkgo Biloba tree in the orchard. Sister Margaret Ann invited all to extend a hand in blessing as she offered a prayer in gratitude for created life and the beauty of nature all around us.

Thursday (April 22) is Earth Day. Take the Clinton Foundation’s climate quiz before Thursday and $2 will be donated to purchase solar flash lights for Haitians living in refugee camps, providing them with energy-efficient lighting to enhance their safety. To take the quiz, click here.
